A Missoula Family Business

Missoula Moves is owned by Mario Schulzke. Originally from Germany, Mario came to America, fell in love with Montana, and graduated from the University of Montana. Go Griz. He now works in marketing, teaches at UM, and lives in Missoula with his wife Carlyn, their kid, a dog, and a cat. Carlyn works in fundraising at the Missoula Children’s Theatre, so giving back to the community is kind of a family thing. After watching friends and neighbors deal with the hassle, waste, and expense of cardboard boxes every time they moved, the idea was simple: there had to be a better way.

Reusable moving totes are stronger, stackable, and easier to pack than cardboard. They do not break, they do not need tape, and when you are done, we pick them up. No trips to the recycling center. No pile of crushed boxes in your garage. Just a cleaner, simpler move.

This is not a franchise or a big company. It is your neighbor with a 20-year-old Honda Element and a bunch of totes. We deliver to your door, pick everything up when you are done, and probably wave at you at the farmers’ market on Saturday.

Ten percent of all profits go directly to local Missoula nonprofits. We are building Missoula Moves for this community, with the goal of creating a true win/win/win situation.

How It Works

Pick the pack that fits your move on our pricing page. We deliver clean totes and a dolly to your door. Pack up, move in, unpack, and schedule a pickup when you are done. Your two-week rental starts the day we deliver. Need more time? Extend to four weeks at a discount.

Every rental includes free delivery and free pickup anywhere in Missoula. No hidden fees. No deposits. Just simple, affordable moving.
